Instructions

Step 1

Step 2

Randomly stamp the candy stamp and chocolate bar stamp on the heart shape cream paper.

Step 3

stick heart on red paper

Stick the heart shape cream paper onto a red colour paper.

Step 4

cut red paper with 5mm gap

Cut out the red colour paper according to the outline of the heart shape, leaving a gap of about 5mm.

Step 5

punch out love stamp

Stamp the love stamp onto another cream coloured paper. Then punch it out using the 1-1/2″ circle punch.

Step 6

2 inch scallop punch

Using the 2″ scallop punch, punch out a piece of red coloured paper.

Step 7

stick the heart and love together

Stick the love circle onto the 2″ scallop flower. Then stick them onto the heart we made in step 4.

Step 8

making 6 x 6 card

Take out your 12″ x 12″ paper. Fold into half. Then half again to form a 6″ x 6″ card.

Step 9

draw an arc

Open up the paper, flip over to the back. Draw an arc in the middle fold of where your card opens. This arc will form the heart when it is cut out.

Step 10

cut along the arc

Cut along the arc. Do not cut the whole heart shape out.

Step 11

fold along the arc

Bend the paper from the edge of the arc to the centre of the card. Score along that line to make a crease.

Step 12

trace the folded area

Use your tracing paper, trace the half a heart out.

Step 13

transfer image on red paper

Fold the red paper into half and place the tracing paper over and scratch to transfer the half a heart image onto the red paper. Then cut out the heart from the red paper. This heart will be the same size as the pop up heart on your card.

Step 14

fold card into shape

Fold the card back into shape. Now you can push the centre heart out and you will start to see your pop up heart.

Step 15

stick red heart on the card

Now you can stick the red heart onto the card, overlapping the pop up part. Always fold the card and make sure it can close properly.

Step 16

small heart

Cut out a smaller heart from the red paper.

Step 17

draw spiral

To make the spiral, take the cream paper, draw a circle of diameter about half the size of the big heart. Then draw a spiral in the circle and cut out the spiral.

Step 18

stick spiral on to heart

Stick the outer end of the spiral to the inside of the big heart.

Step 19

stick small heart to side of card

Stick the centre of the spiral onto the small heart. You can choose to leave the spiral dangling or you can stick the small heart to the side of the card.

Step 20

complete card

Lastly, for the front of the card, stick the paper doily on the card. Then stick the heart we made in step 7.

That’s all folks!
